Travellers Aid Services
Travellers Aid staff, recognizable by their bright yellow shirts, are available to assist with:
- Navigating the venue and connecting between locations.
- Transferring between activities and venues, including skipping queues if needed.
- Providing a card with a contact number for future assistance.
Arrival Information
Getting There:
- City Entrance: Best accessed via a 10-15 minute walk from Federation Square.
- Accessible Drop-Off: Uber and taxi drop-off spots are available on Olympic Boulevard.
- Tram Note: The 70 and 70A tram to the Garden Square entrance (stop 7D) does not have low-floor trams.
Entrance Process:
- Accessible entrances are marked with signs, including a sunflower for invisible disabilities.
- Cloaking facilities are available near the entrance (e.g., Garden Square).
- Queues may be busy; Travellers Aid can assist if overwhelmed.

Sensory Information
Sensory Rooms:
Three sensory rooms are available for breaks and quiet time:
- Ball Park: Designed for kids and youth.
- Margaret Court Arena: A tranquil space.
- John Cain Arena: Includes a view of the field of play.
Each sensory room has a QR code for feedback and additional information.
Noise Levels:
- Activity areas (e.g., table tennis, water park) and arenas can be noisy. Check the Sensory Map for quieter zones.
Facilities
Toilets:
- Accessible toilets and four changing places are available.
- Hairdryers in toilets may be noisy; ask staff for help if needed.
Food:
- Food trucks are located throughout the venue.
- Guests in accessibility seats can order food directly to their seats via a QR code.
Fun Activities
- Enjoy interactive games like table tennis and spin tennis.
- Cool off in the water park (kids can bring swimsuits; changing rooms are nearby).
