Hoodie Up Design Event 2025 Terms & Conditions - Amaze

Hoodie Up Design Event 2025 Terms & Conditions

  1. What is this campaign? The 2025 Amaze Hoodie Up for Autism Campaign is organised by Amaze Incorporated (ABN 15 600 724 949) (‘Amaze’) to promote understanding, acceptance and inclusion of the Autistic community (‘Campaign’). This is not a game of chance or of skill and there will not be a cash prize. Information on how to enter the Campaign form part of these Terms and Conditions. By submitting an entry by email or through the submission website page, you have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Who can enter? Any person, of any age, who is an Australian resident and is a member of the Autistic community as a person with Autism, a family member or carer of an Autistic person, may submit a design for the Campaign (‘Participant’, ‘You’). Employees of Amaze are permitted to enter the Campaign, but will not then participate in selecting the chosen design.
  3. How do I enter? To enter the Campaign, individuals submit an artistic design to Amaze by through the submission website page or by email as set out on the submission website page during the Submission Period (set out below) with a 500-words (or less) description explaining the meaning behind the design, and why it reflects the theme for the Campaign, ‘My Positive Autistic Identity’ (‘Theme’).
  4. Is there criteria for my design? The design must be the Participant’s own and original work, which they created alone or collaboratively with other persons, and comply with the Theme. [You can use generative AI to help you create the design, but the ultimate design you submit must be your own work.] The design must not include, refer or allude to:
    content or images which are copied from third party sources (including the internet) or use third party brands and logos;
    – images, content or words which are explicit, sexually inappropriate, refer to drugs, alcohol or smoking;
    – the Autistic community or experience in a derogatory, inappropriate, or disrespectful manner; and
    – First Nations cultural heritage, if you do not have a relationship with the cultural heritage such that you can share it, or it should not be shared with the community at large. If you do include First Nations cultural heritage, you should identify this in your submission.

    (together, ‘Design Criteria’)

    Amaze can disqualify any designs which do not comply with this Design Criteria.

  5.  How long is the Campaign submission period open? You can submit a design at any time during the Submission Period, which commences at 9.00am AEST on 5 January 2025, and closes at 5.00pm AEST on 19 January 2025.
  6. How will the chosen design be selected? There will be one (1) design chosen for this Campaign (‘Campaign Design’). The Campaign Design will be chosen by Amaze, but Amaze may consult with the Autism community about that choice. That consultation may involve the following:
    a) Amaze will upload designs onto Amaze social media accounts at the end of the Campaign Period (‘Social Media Posts’)
    b) Followers of Amaze social media accounts may be invited, in the Social Media Post captions, to post a comment explaining which design is their favourite, why it fits the Theme, and why they like it.
    c)
    Amaze will consider the public’s comments to choose the three (3) designs which are the most popular and which, according to the public, reflects the Theme.
    d) The top three (3) designs will be shared to Amaze staff, who will provide their feedback about the designs in the context of the Theme.
    e)
    The Participant who submitted the design selected as the Campaign Design will be contacted separately via email or by phone informing them that they are the creator of the selected Campaign Design (Creator).
  7. What happens if my design is selected as the Campaign Design?
    a)
    Amaze will email the Creator of the selected Campaign Design at the email address used by the Creator to submit the design.
    b) As part of that email, the Creator will be sent, and asked to sign a licence agreement allowing Amaze to use their designs on merchandise, such as hoodies,  to be supplied and sold by or on behalf of Amaze for two (2) years (‘Hoodie Up Merchandise’) and to otherwise use the design to promote and market Amaze.
    c) Amaze may post the Campaign Design on Amaze social media channels and Amaze’s websites to identify to the community that the design is the selected Campaign Design.
    d) Amaze will provide the Creator with (1) complementary piece of Hoodie Up Merchandise.
  8. What does Amaze do with revenue from sales of the Hoodie Up Merchandise? All money earned by Amaze from selling the Hoodie Up Merchandise will go towards covering the cost of the Campaign. If there is any profit left after the cost of the Campaign is covered, Amaze will use that money to support the Autistic community in accordance with the objects of the Amaze Strategic Plan.
  9. Additional Meta terms: By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you completely release Meta from all liability and acknowledge that the Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
