It is estimated there are 2.65 million unpaid carers across Australia. These are people who provide care to a family member or friend with disability, a medical condition, mental health condition, or someone who is frail due to age. Through Carer Gateway, carers can access a range of support and services to help manage their emotional health and wellbeing. In-person and online coaching, counselling, emergency and planned respite, peer support, online skills courses and tailored support packages are some of the services available through Carer Gateway. The Disability Gateway is a free Australia-wide service to help people with disability, their families and carers find trusted information and services. It’s accessible, easy to use and a great way to connect to supports in your area, including health and wellbeing, education, and everyday living. The Disability Gateway is for all Australians with disability no matter what your circumstances are.

The Early Days series of free workshops/webinars are for parents and family members of young children (0-6 years) who are on the autism spectrum, or who have concerns about their child. Topics provide core information and practical advice about autism, parenting a child on the spectrum, and supports. Available nationally.

Positive Partnerships is a national program funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. The program provides free high-quality professional learning and resources through workshops, webinars and online modules for parents, carers and school staff that support positive outcomes for young people on the autism spectrum.
